Go Play Rugby

The Go Play Rugby Player Recruitment campaign was launched in 2007. It used the interest around the Rugby World Cup to strengthen our game by growing the number of adult social players. In the Eastern Counties over 350 new and returning players were recruited to the game and out challenge now is to keep them.

Play On

The focus for the 2008/09 season is Player Retention. 'Play On' is a simple concept that relies on Clubs putting 'Pathfinders' in place to track players as they go through their Rugby journey from School to College, University and Club.  Take a look at the information availbalein the Resources section below to find out more about the Pathfinder role - it could be more than one person.

28 Clubs in the Eastern Counties took part in the Go Play Rugby campaign, but there is no reason why ALL clubs should not be involved in Play On. Schools, Colleges and Universities in our area will be involved too.
