Recognise your Volunteers

Volunteers are some of the most valuable assets of a rugby organisation. They offer time, effort and expertise, and deserve to be recognised and rewarded for their hard work.
Eastern Counties Rugby Union has a long and proud tradition of thanking volunteers. Encouraging these traditions at clubs and Sub Counties helps maintain the ethos of the game we love.
ECRU is at the forefront of upholding this tradition and would like to give easy access to information and resources to make this process as easy and rewarding as possible. The RFU's flagship scheme is the President's XV, with 15 categories to honour those community rugby clubs who have developed the finest volunteering programmes. ECRU run a separate Volunteer recognition scheme that rewards local volunteers in ECRU clubs
There are also a number of other schemes which will help your club make its volunteers feel important, appreciated, and a real part of the community rugby club.

There is also various RFU Resources to help get news of your volunteers' good work to a wide audience.
If you would like to nominate your club as the ECRU club of the year or you have a volunteer that could be nominated as ECRU volunteer of the year contact your Sub County Volunteer Coordinator or RDO
