Emergency Procedure for Rugby Clubs
What to do in case of an emergency at your club
The RFU have issued advice on the subject of handling unforeseen circumstances that might lead to a Rugby Club being unable to operate or to fulfil its commitments. These circumstances could stem from severe weather conditions resulting in flooding or wind damage to Club facilities, damage from fire, theft or vandalism, an outbreak of foot and mouth disease or some form of pollution. The advice recommends the development of a response plan to counter the effects of such an emergency and can be obtained by opening the link below.
Whilst thankfully emergencies of this nature are rare it is recommended that this document should be essential reading for Club Management Committees.
