Wymondham and Colchester enjoy day at Twickenham

Jason Robinson, England’s World Cup winning wing, was part of the RFU reception committee when Wymondham and Colchester visited Twickenham after being successful in achieving Whole Club Seal of Approval
The former Sale Sharks player has always been an enthusiastic and exceptional contributor to projects involving the development of young players and his empathy with them, now being witnessed at Fylde RUFC, makes him an ideal choice to welcome and meet a group of people who are at Twickenham because of their own successes in that key area of rugby activity.

The Seal of Approval initiative, which ensures that players coming into the game benefit from the very best support systems that clubs can provide, acts as both a quality kitemark and a barometer of the high standards of care members people can expect from a club.
Every club which achieves Seal of Approval status at either Whole Club or Mini & Youth level deserves great credit for reaching the very high standards demanded by the process and this close-season get-together underlines the volume of clubs who have become involved in achieving what is a very challenging set of criteria.
"These clubs are the latest in a growing list of organisations who have engaged with the Seal of Approval process and brought the organisation of their clubs into line with the high standards demanded by the RFU before clubs can be accredited," says Paula Hanson, RFU Clubs & CB Services Administrator.
"Each club had two representatives and were given a stadium tour, lunch in the members’ lounge, a ball signed by Rob Andrew and Jason Robinson, photograph opportunities with the pair and a formal presentation of their awards by RFU Senior Vice President Willie Wildash."
